We’ve recently updated our flier. Since we opened we have advertised the collection having over three thousand cameras. Well, we’ve had a few donations over the last five years, and recently we had a very large donation of over three hundred cameras. We’ll tell you more about that in a future post, but suffice it to say, three thousand is now a bit of an underestimate. We’re not sure of the exact number, because we still have a few boxes of cameras to catalogue, but it’s safe to say there are over 3500 cameras in the hall.

Fortunately, we’ve also been doing a lot of work on our displays recently, which has helped us squeeze the extra cameras into our viewable shelves and cabinets. So, if you haven’t visited recently, it’s a good time to come back for a fresh viewing. And if you’ve never been to visit the collection, you don’t know what you are missing – as our visitors often tell us, it’s a sight that has to be seen on site to be truly appreciated.
